What is breathwork:

Breathwork uses a simple yet one of the most powerful healing tools available to you – your breath. It is a process of self-discovery and empowerment that allows you to come to a place of balance, peace and bliss in the body. It opens you up to the full capacity of your airways, filling the body with, Prana - Life force Energy.When breathing is full and connected “activation” occurs creating a high vibrational frequency in the body. This process can trigger emotional and physical responses, often revealing things we’ve suppressed, disallowed and or held back that are ready to be released. Breathwork is a tool to restore us to our most empowered selves, to witness and find peace with trauma, long held emotions and old programs that no longer serve the greater whole.Breathwork is the process of discovering the totality of the true self. It is the spontaneous process of self-exploration that is governed by our own healing intelligence. It is the re-discovery of our innate wisdom that can lead to powerful changes and profound awareness.Allowing your breath to heal, relax and bring awareness to your body and mind is truly an amazing and life-changing experience and an amazing gift you can give to yourself.

What to expect during a breathwork experience:

During this session you will be supported to journey deep within yourself, guided by different rhythms of music and your conscious connected breath. This breath can activate altered states of consciousness where we are given the opportunity to connect to our inner healing intelligence, awaken to our true purpose and invites us to move through restrictive life patterns.We will begin in a circle where each person has the chance to introduce themselves, explain in short, a bit about themselves and set an intention for the journey. After that we will explain the process in detail, address any questions, demonstrate the techniques that we will use in the session, and what you can expect from the journey. Fully informed about what is possible during a session, your mind is put at ease that you can trust the process, your own breath and that you are fully supported during the session.

To allow the body to become fully present and allow full body relaxation, we will begin each session with a practice of breathing techniques, body movement and a full body-based scan. A session may include diverse breathwork techniques, hands-on body work, energy healing, sound, and movement to encourage “activation”, release and deep relaxation.Before the session you will receive a questionnaire and more in depth information on how to best prepare for the session. For after the session, we recommend scheduling rest time, to allow you to fully integrate the experience.
