Yoga Beyond the Physical Body

Practiced properly, Yoga is much more than simple physical training. It helps us develop mental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual qualities, and transforms us in more ways than the eyes can see.

Yoga allows us to access and master our “inner resources” – such as energy, mental focus, and creativity.

By practicing yoga, we learn to cultivate & consciously direct these inner resources, and gain the ability to transform ourselves & our lives in whatever direction we choose.

The tools and techniques presented in this course help us to better understand ourselves, develop total self-mastery, and achieve our highest goals & aspirations.

Transformation through Yoga

The purpose of this course is to provide the most efficient techniques & knowledge from genuine YOGA systems, to help each of us accelerate our spiritual development and evolution.

Yoga means, among other things, conscious accelerated evolution. Through systematic practice, yoga helps us discover & awaken the potential qualities that lie deep within each of us – such as intelligence, willpower, compassion, and vitality – and transform in ways which we could only dream of before.

Yoga can also be defined as ability and intelligence in action – using our inner resources with mastery & efficiency. We can, for example, energize & amplify our mental focus & creativity – then use them to achieve our highest aspirations.

The different techniques presented in this course are very simple and can be practiced by anyone. With consistent practice, they create truly life-changing results.

Law of Resonance: Modern Science & Ancient Tradition

The foundation of Esoteric Integral Yoga, and any authentic yoga tradition, is the Law of Resonance – which starts from the fundamental notion that everything in manifestation is made of vibration.

In the scientific world we find the Law of Resonance studied and applied in physics and music, concerning physical phenomena. It is what allows transfer of radio waves from a broadcasting station to a receiving antenna through a specific tuning of their frequency of vibration.

Yoga reveals that the Law of Resonance is also applicable in towards more subtle forms of energy, such as thoughts and emotions.

Various attitudes, states and qualities are characterized by different frequencies of vibration. Through yoga, we can learn to ‘tune’ in and resonate with them – using our body and attention – to (for example) increase our intelligence, or our capacity to heal and be happy.

Beyond this, the course serves a genuine bridge between ancient spirituality and modern science.  The vast & in-depth curriculum references research & studies from the fields of biology, anatomy, psychology, neuroscience, and physics (mechanics, electro-magnetics, quantum physics) – linking them to the corresponding teachings of the ancient traditions.

Realization through Direct Experience

In this yoga course you find each technique and its effects thoroughly explained by an experienced yoga teacher, and supported by written courses.

We practice yoga in a unique manner, where we stay in each asana for a prolonged period of time with a specific inner focus and attitude.

Each technique is followed by an awareness phase of synthesizing the effects in a continuous state of guided interiorized attention.

In this way, all aspects presented in the theory – Chakras, Nadis, Prana, flows of energy, etc – can be personally explored & verified by each and every one of us, through our own practice, direct experience, and personal transformation over time.

Our teachers will guide you to correctly perform each technique, so you can experience the effects for yourself!

Class Structure

In the first year, classes are 2 hours consisting of approx. 75-90 minutes of practice, and approx. 30-45 minutes of theory.

There are 46-48 classes in a year – 1 per week. Classes pause in August and resume in September each year.

The yoga course follows a university-like curriculum with a progressive learning structure, where the practice & theory each week builds upon the last.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of prior experience and physical shape. Even if you have practiced yoga before you will find a completely new depth of practice and knowledge, starting from Year 1 of the course!
