Sangha means spiritual community in Sanskrit, and Sangha Yoga Studio aims to be exactly this; a vibrant, urban sanctuary for all who wish to practice and study yoga, and who look for a place to connect and go deeper in their search for inspiration and loving, conscious transformation in the support of a joyful, uplifting community. It is also fun to do yoga together with like-minded people – at Sangha we are grateful to be alive!

Sangha Yoga Studio is a Jivamukti Yoga Affiliate and our central values are centered around an intellectually stimulating interpretation of traditional Hatha Yoga. Vinyasa – a fluid connection of breath and movement – lies at the core of the vigourous physical practice, and all movement is dedicated to a higher purpose, an intention, an expansion of consciousness in search for the truth. Humility, respect and nonviolence are essential values both on and off the mat.

Jivamukti Yoga is a highly invigorating and stimulating physical and spiritual practice, and at Sangha Yoga we teach at all levels and offer a warm, welcoming space for everyone. We also host a number of events, such as yoga and brunch, movie nights, chanting and meditation. 

In the studio, you will find a small boutique with hand picked items. You can buy Jade Yoga mats, books on yoga and a yogic way of life, dvds, the signature Jivamukti China Gel and Lavender Lotion among other things. We also have a cozy lounge area, where you can enjoy a cup of tea, read books from our library and hang out with fellow students and teachers.
