Maria Boox at Yoga Rocks

A one or two week retreat the lovely and caring Maria Boox from Sweden. First qualifying with the Iyengar family, she found her true path in the Ashtanga yoga of the late Pattabi Jois who personally authorized her teaching of this style. Maria is a joy to be around and her succulent words will motivate you to engage in yoga and have your practice blooming.

Maria will teach Mysore style Ashtanga yoga in the mornings, intense and inspiring, and some afternoons there will be in depth workshops on pranayama or other juicy topics. Besides her long term Ashtanga practice she has also dived deeply into pranayama and its many benefits in recent years, come along and get your own personal pranayama practice.

Yoga Rocks is a stunning retreat center on the south coast of Crete with experienced teachers. We offer delicious food and are now right on the sea.
